Mike talked to David Preston today. He said he's in Costa Rica on some business with Lee Collins. Mike suggested that he ask Lee Collins to come on one of our calls to let us know how he does his direct mail marketing when he gets back at the end of the week.
There will not be a World Light conference call on Sunday, September 5th, or Monday September 6th because of the Labor Day holiday.

The ability to join World Light and make your payment for an entry is up and running again. Yea! If you recently Pre-registered but weren't able to make a payment, you can do so now. You can also purchase re-entries.
The new payment processor is set up on our World Light sites now. That means that there are two different merchant accounts to handle credit card payments. Good News!
The programmer is working on some sort of glitch in the cycling system but it won't affect marketing efforts.
The World Light ad on "doerstv" should be up any day now. We should hear something more about that on tonight's call.
Mike is in the process of trying to contact Preston to see where he stands on his marketing efforts.
We just had about 160 new entries purchased in the last few days. So things are picking up.

World Light Funding Update: Friday, August 6th, 2010
The ability to pre-register for a World Light entry is still functional but a new member still cannot pay for their entry yet. The programmer has not corrected the issue as of today. As soon as I hear any updates on this matter I will let you know.
This also affects the purchase of re-entries for current members.
We heard some good news on the progress of David Preston's new software marketing systems. He has two systems that are going to drive a LOT of traffic to the World Light site and his own personal World Light site. Of course, we all know by now that no matter who brings new people in, we ALL benefit! I'm starting to look for a new house. lol I hope you are just as excited as I am.
Roger and I are continually bringing in new people and now have well over 100 entries. Don't let up on your marketing efforts while we are going through the growing pains. You'll be sorry if you do.

The registration page has been out of commission for a few days. We are very sorry for the inconvenience if you have been trying to join World Light. Actually, you can "pre-register" if you want to, you just won't be able to pay for your entry for the time being. (Should be fixed by Wed. if not today some time.)
The reason for the temporary disabled function is because the programmer is focusing on trying to get the payroll glitch fixed and doesn't want any new membership payments to interfere with the process. Please be patient.

Well... it's been awhile since I put out an update. Sorry about that but there hasn't been a lot new to report and I've been quite busy with some other things but... I received good news from Mike today.
David Preston called him and shared some new developments. It seems that he has 2 different pieces of software that can drive tons of traffic to the World Light site. They have been tested and work really good. One contact of David Preston's used one of the systems and got 186,000 hits to his site.
Mike is going to talk to the owner of World Light to see if he's interested in using the service.
The programmer is still working on the payroll glitch. I'm not too sure what the problem is there but hopefully it will be rectified soon.
The new merchant account has been put on the World Light site and has been tested. All is working just fine. All we need now is for the programmer to implement it on all of our replicated websites which should have within a few days.
Things are really looking good for significant growth in the next few months. David Preston is getting ready to do some serious promoting and we have other huge big name marketers who have joined World Light and are just waiting for the go ahead to market to their downline.

Post card marketing is very effective and a great way to share World Light especially if you don't have a computer.

We have a another "thank you" letter from a charity who received a cheque from World Light. It will be put on the company website soon.

I found a company that sells leads really cheap. Right now (for the month of July) you can get "double" the number of leads for the regular price.
For example, "autoresponder" leads (which are good for email use or mail out) will cost you:
# of leads 15000 $27 July... get 3,000! # of leads 30000 $54 July... get 60,000! # of leads 60000 $90 July... get 120,000!
Note: You can use these leads for other programs you are in as well.
There are many different types of leads to choose from. For example, you can purchase just female leads, or male leads, or leads just in your particular state.
The leads come with name, address, email, phone #, etc. so you can even mail them a World Light flyer if you want to.

The programmer has been working on trying to get the new payment processor working on the Website but has been having problems for a few days. It has been concluded that there is a glitch with the "shopping cart" part of the programming which is an issue on the merchant's side. Mike said they are waiting for a reply from the merchant and that the payment processor should be up by Tuesday maybe sooner.
After the payment processor is up, Mike will be contacting David about vamping up his marketing efforts.
Also... Once the payment processor is up, the programmer will be working on getting the World Light cheques out.

World Light Funding Update: Tuesday, July 6th, 2010 ET
Things are getting exciting. World Light has connected with David Wright (sp?) at www.doerstv.com which is a Christian internet TV platform. Internet TV is the "wave of the future."
This is a young company focusing on the Christian community. World Light will be aired on this TV platform starting in August. The potential audience (over time) is 225 million plus.
Right now, their audience ranges from 200 to 10,000 daily.
The owner of the company, (who joined World Light by the way), was on Brad's Q & A tonight. He said that the Lord gave him the vision to start this TV platform to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help Christian churches and ministries get affordable advertising.

Bishop Patterson, who is the radio station contact who Brad was introduced to (via the co-op ad in the Home Business Connection) is offering an income opportunity to World Light members which is free to join. Come on our Q & A on Wed. to learn more about it.

The programmer is working on a "rolling scroll" which is a box that will be placed on our websites that will show the last hundred people that have joined World Light as they come in.

There is an FAQ on our World Light sites. However, you'll notice that once you enter your keyword in the search bar there is no place to hit "enter" or "search". The programmer is aware of this and will fix it. In the mean time, after you have entered your keyword, hit the "enter" key on your keyboard. That will work for now.
Try to use the FAQ before contacting admin directly. Your question will most likely be answered there.

World Light Funding Update: Thursday, June 7th, 2010 ET
$65,000 has been paid out to charities over the past few days! Some pretty large cheques went out to the more popular organizations like the Cancer Society, Heart and Lung, Deaf and Blind, Salvation Army, and the Diabetes Association.
With the cheque, Mike sent a letter asking for a letter of acknowledgment that the company can put on the World Light site.
$750,000 has gone out to World Light members so far.
We have another movie available as an "option" in our back office. You'll see it as movie #2. You will have to click "save" if you want to see it and keep it on your site as your default movie. If you don't want that one, you'll need to click "save" on the other one.
You'll notice that the movie will run a bit "choppy" when you view it from your back office the first time. But that shouldn't happen when visitors watch it from your front page.
The Radio ad is starting to get some response. There is also a TV ad "in the works". If you're interested in participating in the ad co-op, get on one of Brad's calls or come to our Q & A on Wednesday. We'll give you more information about that.
David Preston has started his marketing but is not going full force until we get Equal Pay back up on our sites. Equal pay has temporarily suspended their service to us because they are changing banks. In the meantime, Mike has secured another payment processor and is working out the details with them so that we can use them as an option in case Equal Pay takes too long to complete their change over.
We are steadily moving forward. Things are coming together. Trust the process and keep sharing the opportunity. It will be worth the work and wait. Our advice to you is to spend your money wisely when it starts coming in.
Make sure you get your finances in order first. Get out of debt before you start buying all the things you really want to have. And to tithe and give an offering to your favorite church or non profit organization. God blesses givers.
Build yourself an "emergency" fund of at least $1,000. Then start working on paying off your credit cards, car loans, line of credit, etc. Start with the "smallest" first. Once that is paid off, use the money you were paying on that one to attack the next smallest one and so forth until you've knocked off all those types of debts.
The next step is to work on saving at least 6 months of living expenses.
The next step should be to pay off your mortgage.
STOP borrowing money for any reason whatsoever. Start putting your trust in God to provide! You'll never get anywhere as long as you are in debt.

David Preston was on the conf. call Tuesday night. He has been marketing the last few days and has people opting into his autoresponder.
He has also had people joining. He was pretty excited on the call as he now says that the gates are open and we should see things start happening in a big way. For the remainder of the week his team will be submitting articles, videos, and press releases. He called it "dropping the hammer" in a small way.
In a few weeks time, he'll be stepping up his marketing efforts and by September we should see about 1,000 people joining daily, he said.

World Light Funding Update: Wednesday, May 26th, 2010 ET
David Preston is supposed to be marketing to about 1,000 people in the next two days. Apparently he is doing some split testing to see which one of his movie converts the best. We heard today that he's getting quite a few hits.
Our World Light programmer has set up a system that counts the hits he gets to his site.We should hear more about the results on Thursday's call.
Mike was talking to David yesterday. David told him that he has a really good contact that he hopes to bring into World Light. This contact has a "lead generation" company. Imagine what that will do for our company if he recruits this man. He has the capability of bringing in 7 figures/month.
Mike was speaking with Equal Pay about when we should expect to get their processor service back up and running. They told Mike that they are still working on it but that it would be soon.
Mike said that we might have another income stream attached to World Light. He couldn't talk about it right now because it's not finalized but stay tuned. We'll hear more over time.
The last pay run paid out around the 1,800 mark for the JS entries and about 300 in the options line.
There will be no conf. call this Sun, May 30th, and Mon., May 31st due to the American holiday and Tues. night we'll just have a brief update.
World Light Funding Update: Monday, May 24th, 2010 ET
David Preston is supposed to be testing the system by marketing to a list of about 5,000 this week. It's been estimated that approx. 17% will click on the info. and up to approx. 28% will actually join. That means we should see between 200-500 new people join World light this week.
David Preston is supposed to be creating 2 movies. One that Niko will do and the other one is a "Jib Jab" movie. Seems we might be able to use them too.
If you have a team of World Light members or prospects and want to do a 3 way call with Brad. He is willing to do that for you.
Brad has made a contact via his Home Business Connection ad that has landed us an opportunity to place an ad on the radio. If you're interested in advertising to approx. 500,000 to 1 million Christians about World Light, contact me and I'll give you Brad's number.
It has been estimated that if you buy 2 ebooks with a $59 JS entry, once you reach pay with it, then... in a year's time from then, you should earn $6,700 from it. That's if the numbers of people expected to join World Light over the next year actually happens.
The programmer is still working on the Charity payout software. I'm not sure what the trouble is there but I know that it takes a long time to run the diagnostic tests. So what is happening is this: Once the programmer finds a bug and fixes it, he has to run the diagnostic test which can take 3-4 hours. Each time he fixes a little bug, he has to run the test again. So you can see the reason why this is taking a long time. It is NOT affecting World Light member's cheques however. The software for that is working fine.
There will not be a World Light call next Sunday, May 30th, and Monday, May 31st due to the American holiday but all calls will resume as normal on Tuesday, June 1st.

World Light Funding Update: Thursday, May 20th, 2010 ET
My gosh... I can't believe how fast the days are flying by. There's so much to do out in the garden now that the warm weather is here and I've taken on a lot more responsibility with the building of two more websites. So... forgive me for not updated you as regular as I used to.
There hasn't been a whole lot to update you on either so that's another reason why you haven't heard from me.
Apparently David Preston will be doing some "split" testing to see which movie is converting the best. Plus... we heard that he is marketing World Light to some smaller Gurus (those with lists of 50,000 or less). He'll be testing the system with these marketers soon to see if the system can handle an increasing volume of new members joining.
The programmer has been running diagnostic tests on the Charity software system to see where the error is. This takes about 3-4 hours per test. So you can see that it takes a long time to find the problem. Keep him in your prayers. He must be getting frustrated.
The glitch in the "capatcha string" has been fixed. (That's the sequence of numbers/letters a new member has to enter in the box when they signup).
Equal pay has not fully finished moving their company to a different bank. Mike contacted them today to see how long it would be before we could use their payment processor again. They said very soon but couldn't give him a definite date.
Our Help for Non Profit site is coming along good. We're starting to get strangers requesting advertising space so they must see the potential growth of this site. There are still spots available for World Light members to advertise on it.

Mike said the programmer called him to say that he thinks he has the charity pay software working now. He's running some diagnostic tests on it today. If it pans out, he'll be sending out charity cheques tonight.
Equal pay is working fine. The numbers joining World Light are starting to pick up.
David has been texted about the movie being ready. We're waiting to get a response from him as to when he'll begin marketing.
Brad's co-op advertising has started to get some action. There have been new members on the calls in response to his ad in the Home Business Connection.
We had a great team chat today. We shared lots of marketing tips. Be sure to join us next Wednesday afternoon.
We have about 12,300 JS entries in World Light at the present time and about 1800 members. The last pay run was around the 2,200 mark. Next pay will go out June 5th.
Once the programmer is done with the pay software, he'll be turning his attention to cleaning up some of the back office issues and finishing up the blog. Also... he'll be implementing "Transcard" on our sites which means we'll be able to receive our World Light money via a debit card rather than by cheque if we so choose.

Mike said he emailed David Preston tonight that the movie is on and we're ready for him to start marketing.
Now is the time to buy more positions or bring others in.
The programmer will now concentrate on finishing the Charity payout software, fix up the blog, and do all the other small little fixes on the website and our back office.
Important: Check your back office and make sure your charity is still set for the one you chose as many of the charities got changed by mistake when the programmer was working on the maintenance of the site.
World Light Funding Update: Sunday, May 9, 2010 ET
Not much new to report. The movie is finished but not on our sites yet. It has something to do with trying to get it to play as soon as someone lands on the site instead of them having to click on a button to make it play. We should hear something more tonight.

Below is the movie that will be on all our sites by tomorrow. Brad said on the call tonight that David Preston will probably start marketing by Wednesday or Thursday. It's getting very exciting!
The EqualPay payment processor is working fine now. Note: If you go to make a purchase and are looking for this payment processor, you will not see it. It will say "credit card" instead.
We also have another payment processor lined up which is called EcorePay.
Mike has seen the new movie that his team put together and both he and the programmer really like it. It will be on our sites very soon.
David Preston's movie is almost done as well. Soon, we'll have a choice as to what movie we want to show on our sites via a on/off button in our back office.
The programmer is still working on the Charity payment software. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. It's going to be exciting when the cheques start rolling out to charities.

World Light Funding Update: Friday, April 30, 2010 ET
We're still waiting for the final fixes on the EqualPay processor. We should hear an update by Sunday.
David Preston has been in touch with Authorize.net and said that he is working on getting the cap raised significantly.
The programmer is still working on the payout software for the Charity cheques.
We have a movie coming soon. As a matter of fact, we're going to have several movies. One that Mike created and one or two of David Preston's. We'll have the option of which one we want to use and/or none at all if we'd rather our visitors just land on the regular home page.
David Preston was on the Thurs. night call and popped over to Brad's Q & A. He talked a lot about his recent speaking engagements, some Joint Ventures he has made, and his vision for World Light.
He said that as soon as the movie is up and the payment processor is working properly, he'll be testing things by bringing in a significant number of new members. If all goes well, he'll start contacting his gurus and telling them to "drop the hammer".
Someone asked about how much a member would be earning by Christmas. Preston wouldn't commit himself to an exact figure but he said that anyone at matching bonus level right now would be doing very well by Christmas.
He also said that he has plans on contacting some of the Non Profit organizations and seeing if they might like to be featured on the World Light site as a charity listed with the other 21. He's hoping that that NPO might like to be listed so that members might choose them as their charity of choice.
He said that we will definitely see some growth in May. He named a bunch of well known marketers who he plans on bringing in. He said "he" is very excited about what's about to happen with World Light
He also said that he is putting together his own movie maker team and he's going to be offering World Light World Light members the option of purchasing a customized movie and SEO for their page if they want it.
He also has a conference coming up where there will be a lot of big time marketers there who are going to share a lot of marketing tips. He said that if you are a member of World Light you can attend for free as his guest.
He shared a lot more information but I'll boil it down to is this, "Get yourself to at least 50% matching bonus level" ASAP. You won't be sorry. Join World Light here.

World Light Funding Update: Sunday, April 25, 2010 ET
The EqualPay payment processor was tested on Friday. They found that there was a glitch with a link that the company had given admin. So Mike contacted them but because the company is in Australia and because of the time difference, they haven't heard back from them.
The issue should be fixed Monday Mike said.
David Preston assured Mike that we would have a movie by this coming week. Apparently he is putting together his own movie team.
All the back checks went out to World Light members on Thurs. and Fri. of last week but there is still a problem with the Charity cheque's payment system. Mike said it should be ironed out at the beginning of the week.
Mike mentioned tonight that David and he were discussing different ways to handle the growth of the company once the big numbers start coming in. It's getting exciting to know that it's really going to happen. Even Roger and I are starting to talk about how we will handle the increase in calls and emails that we will personally be dealing with.

World Light Funding Update: Friday, April 24, 2010 ET
Well... here's a long overdue World Light update. Sorry about that. I've been busy working in the garden now that spring is here. I've also been spending time with our new adopted grandchild and I've been involved with getting our new HelpForNonProfit site up and running.
There hasn't been a lot of World Light updates to give either so that's another reason you haven't heard from me for a bit.
Any how - here goes...
Preston did not get the movie back from Niko yet. Last thing we heard was that Preston was going to make his own movie and that we should have something by next week. In the meantime, our old World Light home page (the one that Paul Mitchel's team created) got put back up which is better than going straight to the JS information page.
The checks finally went out this week for the members. Yea! However, the charity cheques are still held back as there is a glitch somewhere that is causing the cheques to be printed with the wrong amount. The programmer is working on that.
You might have noticed that your charity info. might have changed in your back office. Don't be alarmed and don't try to change it. World light admin is aware of it and you will be notified if and when you need to go in and change it back.
Preston was supposed to have had a meeting with the Authorize.net payment processor (on Wednesday) to see if we could have the cap raised. We should hear something more about it on Sunday. In the meantime, admin is testing our other payment processor (equalpay) to see if it can handle big numbers of people joining.

World Light Funding Update: Monday, April 12, 2010 ET
We don't have David Preston's movie yet but Mike has been in touch with David about it. The fellow who is working on the movie had other commitments that took his attention away from working on our movie but Mike said that David would contacting him about it soon.
Brad Lynn has put together a co-op advertising campaign in the Home Business Connection. If you're interested in getting involved for a June campaign, get in touch with him before Sunday to get details. I can't give his number in this post but if you contact me or go on his Q & A tonight, you can ask about it.
Brad said that anyone who wants to use the ad that he placed in the magazine can use it on flyers and postcards or in your emails if you choose to. I put something similar to it on our NonProfit Fundraiser form here. If you want to see it exactly how it was done for the magazine, contact me and I'll email it to you.
Mike said the programmer got the payout system caught up and that the cheques should go our today for both World Light members and charities.

World Light Funding Update: Friday, April 9, 2010 ET
Mike spoke to Preston about the movie. David said that the movie guru he gave the job to has been very busy and apparently hasn't had time to do it yet but that he would be in touch with him to see where we stand. We should hear more about it Sunday night.
David is also working on a "viral" Jib Jab movie that he might be making available for World Light members to use. It's a comical movie that is sure to create some marketing buzz for World Light. Stay tuned... we'll hear more about it soon.
The programmer is working on the pay run this week for members and charities. The hold up has been the numbers of cheques available for charities.
For example: One church has been designated by approx. 180 members so instead of writing 180 cheques to the church, the programmer is trying to amalgamate them so only one cheque goes out the church. This is having to be done manually so it will take a few days. In the future, this will all be done automatically but for now that's the only way they can do it and still get the cheques out ASAP. Mike said the cheques should start going out today (Friday).
Mike said that Willy Crawford is gearing up to market World Light. He already has his blog posts and articles written. He's just waiting for the "word" that the system is a "go." For those of you who don't know... Willy Crawford is a very well know marketing guru who we expect will bring in thousands of members to World Light.
David Preston said that he is thinking it would be a really good idea to have "profiles" of some of the big gurus who have joined World Light on the World Light site. The caption will say something like, "Look at the guys who will be marketing for you!."
David also said it would be a good idea for these gurus to have a "central" marketing spot on the site where they could offer their services and marketing products. It would create a lot of buzz and traffic to the site.
We're still having a few problems with equal pay not working properly on the site but that the company has given World Light a special code to correct the issue. It's just a matter of time before the programmer will be back at that to correct the problem. In the meantime, people can still use Authorize.net to join World Light and of course Alertpay and Solid trust. There is always the option of mailing in a money order as well.
The website could be up and down a bit over the next couple of days because of maintenance. Don't be alarmed, just keep trying if you want into your back office for any reason.
Overall... Things are getting exciting as we get closer to what we've all been waiting for so hang in there and keep praying. It will be worth the wait.

We are still waiting for Preston's movie. Mike said he was going to call David about it today (Tuesday)to see how close we are to getting it.
The programmer is testing "Equal Pay" which is our 2nd payment processor. There is a temporary cap on Authorize.net so we'll need to turn to Equal pay when the big numbers start joining World Light.
The programmer and Mike is working on the payment system so they can start sending out cheques this week to members and also to Charities.
Mike is going to ask some of the Non Profits if they will write a letter of recognition that he can post on the World Light Website once they have received a donation cheque.
You'll notice that we still cannot see our "indirect" referrals in our back office but it will be fixed soon.

We have approx. 7,900 World Light members, 12,000 JS entries, and about 1,900 Options so far.
We are supposed to be getting David Preston's movie by Monday the 5th and it's supposed to only take a day or two to get it up on our sites.
As soon as we get Preston's movie on the site, then he is supposed to start marketing. He will start out slow as he'll want to test the whole system to make sure everything is working fine. If so, he will be stepping up his marketing efforts and we'll start seeing some significant growth.
You'll notice in your back office that your referrals may not be showing up properly. Don't worry. It will all be fixed soon.
Admin. is still very much aware of the many spelling errors and typos on the new site. Be patient, they will be corrected
Visitors to our World Light websites will be able to purchase ebooks without joining if they want to. You will receive a commission from World Light if you sell any ebooks in this manner. The programmer is working on putting up a shopping cart.
Things are moving along quite nicely with our new HelpforNonProfit website. We are starting to get google traffic, one of our world Light members got a sign up, we're getting non profit organizations interested in advertising on the site and we're getting visitors requesting information about world light.
Also...Some of our World Light members are getting good google rankings for their pages.

World Light Funding Update: Monday, March 29th, 2010 ET
As you've probably noticed, the new World Light site is up but there are many things that need fixing. Such as: spelling and grammar errors, the downline viewer, the ability to join now, and others. All these things will be fixed in the next couple of days.
The site loads faster and that was the purpose of changing the site as the old one was just too slow.
We're still waiting on David Preston's movie. Any day now we've been told. Mike said that he would be contacting David today to see when we could get it from him.

Mike spoke with David Preston about when we're getting the movie. He told David that we needed it by the end of the week. Mike said we'd even accept it without the sign up link working right in the movie because we could just put the sign up link right under the movie instead.
Apparently David wants a couple more days to work on it and then either way, we'll get it.
The programmer is still trying to get the new website and join feature working properly in Firefox and Safari. It's been a real headache trying to integrate the coding to work in all types of browsers.
Mike is proof reading the new site for grammar and spelling errors.
Mike said that he's got some more ebooks coming which will bring up the total library to about 2,000 ebooks.
Mike said that once the non profit organizations start receiving money from World light that he is going to approach them about writing a testimony on our World Light site and perhaps even come on our conference calls from time to time.

World Light Funding Update: Monday, March 17th, 2010 ET
The programmer has been working on making a few changesto our World Light site to make it load faster. The google search engine is starting to penalize websites that are too slow to load. So this was a necessary fix. We should have our new site tomorrow.
The programmer was also hoping to get the counters up this week.
We are still waiting for David Preston's movie/slide show presentation that will be put on the front page of our sites. Apparently his tech team is making it compatible with the World Light site so it works properly when someone visits the page.
As soon as the movie is up, David Preston will be promoting it. This is supposed to happen this week.
The programmer is also working on the payment processor. We should see a pay run before the end of the month and also checks will be going out to Charity at the same time.
After the movie is up and the pay run goes out, the programmer will be putting StrictPay on the site. This means we can be paid via a debit card instead of a cheque if we choose.
In case you don't know, all is working well with the payment processors now. We have 2 major accounts. One is authorize.net and the other is equalpay.com
This means anyone can join World Light directly with a credit card. You don't need to go through AlertPay, SolidTrust, or a money order.

World Light Funding Update: Monday, March 15th, 2010 ET
There's is not a whole lot new to report. We're basically ready to go but are just waiting on the movie.
Mike is supposed to be contacting David Preston today about getting the movie up on our sites. We should hear more about it on tonight's call. That's basically what we are waiting for now.
If we get the movie/slide show within a day or two, it will take about 3-5 days to get in up and running on our sites.
The programmer is apparently working on the payment software but as soon as the movie is available, he'll focus on that.
We had a sneak preview of the new World Light site. They had to make some changes to the website to make it load faster. You might have noticed that the site was pretty slow to load which is not good for visitors. Google doesn't like slow sites and will penalize a site that loads too slow (meaning that they don't send their crawlers as often as we'd like).
Some of you have paid me for a World Light advertisement on our Non Profit site. However, you have not yet sent your outline. Please do so asap. We are starting to get traffic to the site.
World Light Funding Update: Wednesday, March 10th, 2010 ET
There's been kind of a debate/poll going on since yesterday as to which is more important... getting David Preston's movie on our site or working on the payout management system.
Either one is important and both are going to take a few days to a week to complete. So we were all being asked which one we wanted the programmer to work on first. The final consensus is the movie (but I think the programmer has the final say). We'll hear more from Mike about that soon.
Recently the programmer turned off the ability to join World Light via the "join now" button on our sites.
Apparently there was an error message when Mike was manually plugging in some entries in the past few days.
The programmer is diligently working on the issue and it should be rectified shortly (Mike said today he hoped).
If you've ever tried to email admin. via your World Light back office or to wlihelp@yahoo.com and never received a reply, it could be that your email provider is blocking them.
Mike said that he's been answering messages but some are bouncing back to him.
Go to your back office and check in the updates section. You'll see instructions on how to whitelist your email address so you get emails from the company.
The best thing to do is get yourself a gmail account. It's free and secure. Go to www.gmail.com and create an account. Use that email for your correspondesne with World Light. Gmail accounts are rarely rejected if at all.
We are hoping to have Strict Pay on our site by the end of the month. Strict Pay will allow us to get paid via a debit card rather than by cheque.
We have a FAQ section on the World Light site so try to find your answer there before emailing admin. Mike said that he spends a lot of time answering emails that have the answer in the FAQ.
There is a search bar where you can type in the a keyword related to the answer that you are searching for.
Don't forget to turn your clocks forward one hour this Saturday night.

The programmer is still working on the SSL (the security code configuration for the merchant account). It is expected to be done tomorrow.
You'll notice that if you are trying to purchase with a credit card that it says, "coming soon". That is in relation to the second merchant account. That will be done soon.
There's supposed to be a pay run going out by the end of the week if all goes well with the programming for it.
Also... the charity cheques should be going out as well.
Some members are not getting Mike Dodd's World Light updates. If this is the case, please go to your back office and check under "updates". You'll see them there.
Also... you'll see a message there on how to "whitelist" your email. The reason you might not be getting updates via your email is because your email provider is blocking them.
Check out the FAQ section on the World Light site before you contact admin. You might get your questions answered. There's a spot to enter your "keyword" to do a search.
Don't forget to move your clocks forward this Sat. evening so you're not late for church and/or miss the World Light call Sunday night at 9pm ET.

Authorize.net is now up and live on the World Light sight. This means you can now join with a credit card without having to go though a payment processor like Solid Trust or AlertPay.

David Preston is back from his speaking engagement. He was on the conference call last night.
He said that he signed a contract that was absolutely huge and that it would be a "lead in" to having some big Hollywood celebrities joining World Light because of the charity part of our business.
There was a special "fireside chat" with Mike Dodd and David Preston on tonight's conference call. He talked about the huge advantage of having authorize.net
Also... he said his personal goal was to bring in 1,000 new members per day.
He said March will pick up, April will be very good, and by June we'll be seeing huge numbers joining World Light.

We have secured a second merchant account called Authorize.net It's a well known and reputable company. We heard that it has about 60% of the online market. Most of the gurus are familiar with it. World Light will be able to put their logo on our sites so that's going to add to our credibility as a legitimate company.
The sign up process has been reactivated. So at the present time, you can purchase an entry with Solid Trust and Alert pay online until we get the 2 new merchant accounts configured. And of course, you'll always have the option to mail in a money order.
We're still waiting for David Preston to finish up his testing of the new slide show. If it converts well,it will uploaded to our sites.
The video will have a caption on it that says something like, "Warning! Watching this video may changes your life!"
Once a visitor watches the video, there will be 2 options for them.
1. They can sign up right away (there will be different payment processors available for them to choose from.)
2. Or... they can request more information. Then they will get automated messages sent out to them.

We have secured a second merchant account. It's a "for sure" so that's a good thing.
We are still in a "test mode" with our current merchant account. Mike will be contacting them tomorrow to see why.
The registration page will probably be back up tomorrow. The reason it's been up and down this week is because the programmer is trying to make it easier for people to sign up.
It was a bit confusing to some people because they didn't know that they had to "verify" their purchase. That part of it will be eliminated now. It's almost ready.
David Preston is testing his new slide show to see how it's converting. If it converts well, it will uploaded to our sites. (This coming week hopefully.)
After the slide show is up and the payment signup process is completed, then the programmer will be spending time finishing up the blog, putting some of the info. in different languages,and putting the counter back up.
The ebook library is growing. Did you know that once you become a member and download your ebooks that you have the resale rights? That means you can sell them over and over again for whatever price you want. So that's another income stream for you if you want to take advantage of that.

Most of you have been receiving World Light updates from Mike Dodd so I haven't been putting any out this week. But for those of you who haven't received his emails, I'll give you a quick overview of where we're at...

The World Light site has been up and down this week as the programmer has been working on it. This has caused problems for some of you who have been trying to join. Be patient. It will be back in order soon.
For those of you who are interested in securing a full page on our new Charity website, let us know. The purpose of this new website is to market to the non profit sector.
I've done a little research and found that there are many google searches for people looking for charity information and "non profit fundraising" ideas. So we will focus heavily on those keywords on our new site. The more traffic we can get from the Non Profit sector, the better chance we all have of some of them being interested in World Light.
Any World Light member who wants a full page on this new site can get it for only $50 for your first year or $100 for your first 3 years. That's might cheap advertising! You can take a peak at www.helpfornonprofit The "look and feel" will likely be changed over time to something a little more charity looking.
We will be allowing non profit organizations to promote their causes on our site for free to encourage a lot of activity. They can upload pictures of their projects and events.
I have a lot of things planned for this site. It's hard to express it all in a short update. Of course it will take a bit of time to build the site but once we're in full force I think we'll have a real winner.
Our purpose is to help World Light members to get to 100% matching bonus level like Roger and I have done. (You do not have to be in our downline to participate.)

If you've been on any of the World Light calls recently, you would have heard the news about David Preston's idea for recruiting new World Light members.
David shared with Mike that he had been promoting the World Light Funding replicated website and doing a little testing.
However, he found that our present website is not converting. He had approx 5,200 hits to the site but only a 1% conversion rate.
So, the plan is... to create a new page with a slide show on it. The slide show will have a caption on it that says something like, "Warning! Watching this video may changes your life!"
Once a visitor watches the video, there will be 2 options for them.
1. They can sign up right away (there will be different payment processors available for them to choose from.)
2. Or... they can request more information. Then they will get automated messages sent out to them.
This video/slide show form of marketing seems to be the way to go these days.
It works for many of the big marketers so that's the route World Light has decided to go.

David's Team is editing the movie now.
Things are working out good with a merchant account. We should have all the paper work wrapped up by next week if not sooner. So by the time our programmer gets David's new slide show on the site, we should have the merchant account too. That's a nice combination of features to help conversion rates.
You'll have the option of turning the slide show on off depending on whether you want it to show on your site or not.
We're pretty much ready with the Transcard but rather than implementing it on the site, Mike has the programmer working on some other lose ends to tie up. The mailing system has been a top priority while we're waiting on David's slide show.
We received a test email from Mike today so it seems to be working.
The last 2 months of World Light cheques did not go out due to the transferring of the server but we will see another pay run by the end of the Month if not sooner. The payments will be caught up by then and the payment system will be back to normal for the following pay run on March 5th.
We've got the six people needed to get our our New Charity Website going. Thanks to our new Charity Team Members who committed themselves to getting this project off the ground. (Connie, Dan, Charles, Duane, Frank, and Alice.

Things are working out good with a merchant account.
David Preston is working on a video for the front page of the World Light site.
We're pretty much ready with the Transcard but rather than implementing it on the site, Mike has the programmer working on some other lose ends to tie up.
We should see another pay run by the end of the Month.
So all in all within 2 weeks we'll have Preston's video and our merchant account and we'll be ready to bring on down ! lol

Sorry I haven't put out an update for awhile. There haven't been any huge advancements lately so I've been busy trying to get caught up on things that I've been neglecting.
Updates:
They have almost finished the blog.
They are close to getting a merchant account. (Mike received the application papers a day or two ago.)
The programmer is working on admins mailing system right now because Mike is having to send out emails in batches.
They are working on adding a marketing material section in the back office.
David Preston is promoting his World Light site but not very heavily at the moment as he thinks these things should be cleaned up first I suspect.
Brad still thinks we'll get about 10,000 people in the month of February. That "guestimate" might be a bit high but we'll see. T'would be nice!
I think the important thing is to trust God as our provider and not to count on David Preston to do all the work although I'm sure he'll come through.
We should all build our business and keep moving forward and do our part however small our contribution and be patient.
World Light is slowly but steadily moving forward. Remember... The tortoise wins the race.

You won't be disappointed. God has brought this company through many trials and obstacles and continues to do so even though we all are getting a little "antsy." David Preston and Willy Crawford have numerous strategies up their sleeve. It's just a matter of time now.
Why wait for David Preston to carry the show though? If everybody bought just one more entry, or brought one more person in, it would double the entries we have now. That would give us a nice boost while we wait on the gurus to start coming in.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year. Now that the Christmas stuff is packed up, and I'm at the tail end of a bad flu bug, things are getting back to normal. I'm in the swing again of giving you some World Light updates.
There's excitement in the air as World Light moves forward. Although it may appear that there isn't a lot happening recently, rest assured there is activity behind the scenes. We are steadily moving forward.
We expect to have Solid Trust on our sites by the end of the week.
The transfer of the new server is pretty much completed. There are just a few loose ends that need tying up.
Mike is working on securing a merchant account. It's looking like we will have one very soon.
The SEO (search engine optimization) continues and we are getting more and more traffic to the World Light site.
David Preston is going to be bringing in some smaller gurus next week to start testing out the system.
He'll also be coming on one of our conference calls to update us on what he's been up to with World Light.
Mike is working up uploading some free ebooks for members to download and we will eventually have some free software that we can use as well.
That's in addition to the ebooks you can download after you purchase a JS or Option entry.
