The truth that I came to realize.

I have the courage now to share with everyone my testimony. Back in 2003, I was at work and almost in tears. I thought I had ruined God's plan for my life.

I reasoned that if I had died God would certainly not approve of the things I have done. God would be angry with me for a lot of my choices. I felt so bad that I messed my life up.

I want to get on track. My uncle had always told me when I was younger about Jesus, God's Son, who died for my sins and offered forgiveness for them.

Well I didn't pay attention to that. That night though I sincerely asked Jesus to help me believe. I told him how sorry i was for doing wrong with my life, he was the only way I would ever get the forgiveness from God that I didn't deserve but needed.  I wanted the life I could have lived not the life I was living.

Now I didn't expect anything to happen. I didn't think anything would. Two minutes later after wiping the tears from my face. I walked out of the stall in the men's room and suddenly felt this warm chill go down my spine, which I now recognize as the Holy Spirit. It felt like warm water but also like egg yoke. It felt like amazing. I knew then that I was forgiven.

I felt as if I was baptized in spirit and God had touched me because the weight was lifted from me that night. I witnessed God in my life that night for the first time. I witnessed Grace and God had all the work I had to do that night done for me.

I literally have God in my life now and recognize the joy he brings me when he is there. I also felt as if my life was this messy room. That night I left my messy room and came back to a clean one without having to lift a pinky. Someone just loved me enough to clean it for me metaphorically speaking that is.

Well thanks for letting me share with you my life changing story. I hope it inspires you. Just open your Heart to God's Son Jesus Christ and may you see for yourself. Also try getting involved with other Christians once you come to Jesus as your Savior.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Everyone experiences God in the way he chooses to reveal himself, please don't expect what happened to me to be the same for you.)

Jesus the Christ is truly worthy of all praise.
