Setting Up Pimex
Call your internet provider and ask them for:
a) your smtp server (this is the company who provides you with your internet service (example: mine is Cogeco so I would put SMTP.cogeco.ca) b) your port number c) ask them how many emails you can send out per hour and per day.
Click on Settings in the Connections Section
type in your email address
type in your name
type in 1 second delay
type in reconnect every 150 messages
type in pause for 1 second
Click on test connection (it should say, “Connection successfully verified”)
Click OK
Click on Settings in the Message Section
Type in the subject of your message
Click on the three little dots to find your saved message
Attachments --- leave blank
Don’t check BBC
Click the box that says, “reply to if different from sender” only if you want your prospects to contact you at a different email than the one you provided earlier and then type in the email that you want them to reply to.
The following parameter is a person's name: Choose 1
Click OK
Under the Email Section
Click HTML Preview on the right to take a look at your email message. Make sure it looks alright.
