Exploring home business ideas can be a lot of fun and very enlightening if you take your time. It is very important that you do not rush this beginning stage of your entrepreneurial journey.

Finding the right business is just as important as finding the right job or profession. You will be spending hours, weeks, and years building your business so it is very important that you find something that you suites you.

Pray first and invite God into the process. That's what I did before I built this website with Site Build It. I first prayed believing that this was important enough to God that He would actually be involved and help me find the ideal home business.

Get prepared

Second thing I did was gets lots of paper and pen. (a box of tissue too as you just might shed a tear or two!) We're going to do a little delving into your personal life in order to brainstorm for ideas. I urge you to make sure you have time to do this brainstorming session. I did not do this all in one sitting. Stretch this over a period of a few days or even weeks if you want to. Turn off distracting noise; T.V., and radio etc. Tuck the children in bed and make yourself a cup of tea.

Out of the ideas that come to your mind, one or two of them could shape the foundation of your future home business so do not discount anything that pops up. Write EVERYTHING down no matter how silly or grandiose any of them might seem at the moment. Remember that this is just a brainstorming session. You are not making any final decision about a business at this point so allow yourself the freedom to be imaginative and creative. No pressure here. Relax.

Purpose

The purpose is to find the things you value, have interest in, passion about, skills you've developed and activities you love to do. From there, with God's help, ideas will begin to emerge that perhaps you had not thought of before. Any one of those ideas could turn out to be a very lucrative home business idea.

I'm going to be asking you some probing questions. Do not censor your answers. No one is going to see what you've written. Be honest with yourself and just freely write your thoughts and feelings on paper as we do a little brainstorming.
