My name is Kimberly and I am 26 years old.

I just had a biopsy almost a week ago to make a final diagnoses for Syjogren's Syndrome. It is an autoimmune disorder. It attacks your skin cells, vital organs, and joints.

Today the place where they did the biopsy on the inside of my lower lip got infected. The Dr. gave me a stronger dose of antibiotic.

Pray that God would heal me completely and that my white blood cells would be normal. I don't know when the test results will come in.

I Hear Your Cry!

For the last two months, I have had raised glands on either cheek on my face.

Initially they thought I had mumps but after 4 weeks, they have decided against this.

I have been going crazy with worry of what could be wrong with me.

A doctor who saw me in A&E suggested it might be Syogren Syndrome due to the fact my eye lids are both inflammed.

During this time I have also lost my Aunty (aged 36) with 4 children.

The stress lead me to start having anxiety attacks, to which thank God I have now been able to put under control.

I have put my faith fully into God because only He can help me through this. I am 31 with a 10 year old son.

I am currently awaiting a scan result and pray that my results show nothing life threatening.

Please keep me in your prayers as I will you.

Sjogren's Syndrome

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues. I have gone to the Lord in prayer for you. Thank you for sharing with us. I'm sure many others will pray for you as well.

I wasn't sure what Sjogren's Syndrome was... so I looked it up on the internet. You're right. It's an immune system disorder where the body attacks it's own tissue and cells.

I read that the symptoms are dry eyes, dry mouth, fatigue, problems swallowing, fever, dry skin, dry cough, and a whole slew more.

Your immune system can really be built up if you eat really healthy and get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

I found an awesome site a couple of years ago where they teach you how to eat the way God intended us to eat.

My husband and I adopted this healthy lifestyle and have noticed a real improvement in our health.
We eat mostly raw veggies, fruit, nuts, and seeds and juice carrots and all sorts of other things.

It took a bit of getting used to eating this way but now just the smell of the wrong kind of food makes our stomachs turn!

You might want to check it out. There's a lot of interesting information and testimonies on the website at www.hacres.com A lot of them are concerning immune system problems.

Hope that helps. I will continue to pray for you. I know what's it's like to be sitting on the results of tests. I had to wait two weeks before I got the results of a breast cancer biopsy.
