Send Out Cards
Hi,
My name is Barb Poirier. I am just about to be a grandma of a precious little baby girl. I also have a little girl in my life that is 3 years old, well almost 4, who I consider my grandchild. She calls me Ganma B. My husband and I are very blessed.
I have always liked to make people smile and laugh. I am the best me when I am able to touch someone's life in some positive way. I am a good listener and cheerleader. I think that I am here to be goofy and lighten someone's burden in life, if only for a short time.
I had been praying for a long time for God to help me find something where I could work at home and still touch people in some way. I also had to be able to make some money at what I was doing.
I filled out a survey and received many phone calls and offers. In fact, one of those people became a great friend of mine even though I didn't choose her opportunity.
I came across an email that seemed to stand out from the others. I started researching SendOutCards. I sent a free card and looked at the info. I felt deep in my heart that this was what I wanted to do. I could make someone smile by sending out cards and gifts and sharing my heart with them.
I called up this guy and asked him to tell me a little more about the business. (I think I made his day!) I talked everything over with my husband and here I am today doing what I love.
I have always been great at picking out a card that I thought would be perfect for a certain person. I would write a heartfelt message and then I would forget to mail the card. By the time I realized it was still sitting in my home it would be too late to sent the card. This was a family joke. Now that problem is solved and everyone thinks I'm a new me.
I think the most rewarding part of SendOutCards for me is knowing that I have reached out and made someone feel good. I love the feeling I get when I get a call telling me how they had received that card just at the right time. The card was something that they needed right at that moment and it helped them get through the day. God is at work in everything we do.
I never underestimate the power of the written word, a gift given in love, or what God can do through us. Sometimes, the simple things in life make the biggest impact.
Many blessings and happy dances to you!
