Ever felt the sting of procrastination guilt? Join the club. We all have. Check out the newest page I wrote on my website. My Top 10 Procrastination Busters. 2. What the Bible says about Procrastination "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." (James 4:114) We must always be conscious of the fact that we do not know the hour of our death or when the Lord will appear with a trumpet sound and we will meet him in the air. Therefore we must always be diligent in being "about our Father's business." I want to hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:23) Contrary to what some people suggest, we could never realistically live 100% as if this were our last day because we would most invariably do things quite differently today if we were absolutely sure we wouldn't make it through the night. But...we need to live as if the day is close at hand. We must prepare for our death; prepare for the rapture. Make sure our affairs are in order, do our best to live for Him hour by hour and be conscious of those who are yet to be saved. Our home business is more than just a means to make a living. Believing our work is making a difference in people's lives helps kill procrastination. We should be looking at our business as a channel to serve others. To help, encourage, and to share the gospel with them.

Note: Webmasters...You are welcome 4. Procrastination Quotes If you struggle with procrastination, it might help to post one or two of these quotes where you will see them daily.
"If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done." ~Author Unknown "Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday." ~Don Marquis "Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task." ~William James "The sooner I fall behind, the more time I have to catch up." ~Author Unknown "Someday is not a day of the week." ~Author Unknown "If you want to make an easy job seem mighty hard, just keep putting off doing it." ~Olin Miller "Tomorrow is often the busiest day of the week." ~Spanish Proverb "There are a million ways to lose a work day, but not even a single way to get one back." ~Tom DeMarco and Timothy Lister "It is an undoubted truth, that the less one has to do, the less time one finds to do it in." ~Earl of Chesterfield "Procrastination is opportunity's assassin." ~Victor Kiam That's all for now friends. These newsletters are written for you in mind. My prayer is that they bless and encourage you. If you have any suggestions or would like me to write about something in particular to meet your need for next month's e-zine, please feel free to let me know by responding to this email. Keep moving forward one step at a time however small and remember that for each minute that you procrastinate, the devil and his workers are laughing at your expense. 1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." The devil is real my friends. He doesn't want you to be productive. If he can devour you with the habit of procrastination, he's rendered you useless for God. Don't let him win today.
Next issue: January 6th, 2009 My husband Roger and I wish you a most blessed Christmas with your family and friends and a Happy New Year.
