I love building websites. It's a great way to earn a diversified income writing about stuff I'm passionate about. I use SBI (for those of you who might be interested).

Today, I wanted to quickly let you know that I was recently introduced to a really neat business marketing tool that I'm sure you can make use of for your own endeavor.

I had heard about it a couple of years ago and set up an account but that was as far as I got. I put it on the back burner and forgot all about it until a few days ago when Mike Dodd, (World Light admin.) asked me if I'd like to interview a big guru next week (maybe Willy Crawford!). I'll let you know who it is in the next newsletter.

I said sure. So, he told me to open a free account at BlogTalkRadio.com Once I got there, I realized I had created an account previously but I opened a new account anyway with a different email address.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I fooled around with it because I wanted to test it out and know what I was doing before I interviewed this big guru. To my surprise, it was very easy to navigate (very user friendly.)

My husband Roger and I did a 15 minute broadcast yesterday to test it out. You can listen to it at www.blogtalkradio.com/worldlight if you've got a minute.

So, I just thought I'd quickly share BlogTalkRadio with you as I'm sure most of you who have a business would see the networking potential of using this tool. Like I said, it's FREE so you've got nothing to lose. The free version has ads on it which I'm not crazy about but the cost of the "ad free" upgrade is a little steep for those of us just starting out with this.

I can see that upgrading might be in the future for us depending on how much use we make of it. Google has already picked up on our broadcast so I was pretty excited about that plus you can see (once you visit the site) that thousands of marketers are using it for networking and promotional purposes.

If you don't know any important people to interview at the present time, just interview someone in your downline or even a family member (not that they aren't important! lol)

I noticed that many of the shows are just "one man" broadcasts as well so you could just do a blog talk by yourself if you want to.

If you're going to give it a try, make sure you create a "host" account and follow the tutorials to learn how to set every thing up. Contact me if you need help with it. I'd be glad to help.
